Sicily in the spotlights

Sicily is at the centre of the Mediterranean sea, few miles from north Africa coasts.

Temperatures can rise up to 43 degrees in summer, usually between 30 and 40. the touristy season is concentrated in July, August and September, but more people are discovering the mild spring and winter in Sicily.

The coldest month is usually January, with temperature along the coast of not less than 7 degrees.

On the mountains it snow from November to late February and in mount Etna skiing is possible. Thunderstorms are common but do not last for more than few hours.

We advise you to visit Sicily in June July and/or in September/October, when the mild but still hot climate and a less crowded population of tourist make the perfect holiday.
